Analyzed data on 77,659 participants in The Adventist Health Study 2 revealed that when compared to non-vegetarians, all those in the vegetarian groups had a 19% borderline statistically significant reduced risk of colon cancer and a 22 % non-statistically significant reduced risk of colorectal cancers.
