Folic Acid Found to Help Bone Health

In a recent study of 117 post-menopausal women, researchers found that women with the lowest folate levels had an average yearly decline in bone mineral density of 17.8 mg per cm2 , while women with the highest folic acid levels only had a decline of 0.27 mg per cm2.

Soy Isoflavone Increases Bone Mineral Density in Post-Menopausal Women

After analyzing ten studies, researchers found that intakes of over 90 mg per day of isoflavones significantly increased spine bone mineral density (SBMD), particularly in post-menopausal women.
